Fill the freezer

Price listed on the beef shares is a deposit for the beef. Since my prices are based on the weight of the animal, actual pricing won’t be known until the animal is butchered, and we get a hanging weight from the butcher.

We charge $6.00 per pound of hanging weight, and our butcher charges $1.60 per lb (I can explain hanging weight if needed) for a total of $7.60 per lb. That price includes custom butcher and wrap.

My whole beef in the past have averaged right around 800 lbs. hanging weight so that comes out to $6080 (800lbs x 7.60 = $6080) 

So respectively

1/2- $3040

1/4- $1520

Again this is just an estimate.

All deposits go towards the final price.
